The ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ College cheerleading team won a national championship during the Reach the Beach All-Star and College Nationals cheerleading competition held on April 1-2 in Ocean City, Md.
The ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ team finished in first place in the Collegiate Co-Ed Limited Small Elite ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½, comprised of NCAA ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ III colleges and universities.
Members of the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ team who competed are: Sunshine Allen, Brunswick, Md.; Lexie Dunda, Dunmore, Pa.; Jake Hogan, Folsom; Brianna Leone (captain), Moscow; Pascale Louissaint, Suffern, N.Y.; Emma Milligan, Vestal, N.Y.; Ally Mullin, Pottsville; Bradley Parry, Clarks Summit; Kaleen Pastrana (captain), Kunkletown; Sarah Pharr, Tunkhannock; Alicia Secules, Muncy; Jordan Winkler, Hawley; and Chloe Woods, Lewistown. ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ College lab assistant and adjunct instructor Kayleigh Delfino is head cheerleading coach.
