2025 Furphy Literary Award Winners
The finalists of the Furphy Literary Awards for 2025 have recently been announced. Congratulations to all students from GVGS and across the 糖心传媒 who took on the challenge of entering their writing and poetry in the Junior and Youth sections of the competition. Thanks also to the Furphy Literary Awards for offering this invaluable opportunity to young writers.
Students from GVGS were shortlisted in all sections and we would particularly like to acknowledge those who have placed 1st, 2nd听or 3rd听in these prestigious awards.
In the Youth Short Story Section,听congratulations to听Asha Birchall, Year 10, who was awarded 1st place for her story, 鈥楢 Cup of Kindness鈥�.
In the Youth Poetry Section, congratulations to听Aniq Alam, Year 10, who was awarded 3rd place for his poem, 鈥楾he Highway鈥�.
